How did it start?

The Scarlett Sanctuary was lovingly created to share my knowledge and guidance outside of the therapy room. It’s a chance to access my support in the moments you need it the most.

I recognise that therapy can be difficult to continue long-term. And yet, just like our physical health, our mental health needs maintenance too. The Scarlett Sanctuary was set up, not as a replacement to therapy but as a valuable addition.

Each month the community members submit their questions about anything from attachment style, to relationship difficulties and I’ll do my best to answer as many as possible. It’s a great chance to grab a cup of tea and work through the issues all of us struggle with.

What do the audios help with?

Any moment you can think of that you might need support with. Expect to find expert guidance for things like:

  • Managing uncertainty

  • When stress levels rise

  • For the times when FOMO hits

  • Quick re-set when anxiety fires up

  • When relationship worries are present

  • Catching your thoughts before they snowball

The Psychology behind it

Research shows that your brain has the ability to create new neuropathways, which is known as neuroplasticity. This means that your old patterns, thoughts and beliefs can shift and alter. In other words, they are not fixed.

But the problem is, you’ll often be very attached to the old patterns. Which is why, we sometimes need the support and outlook of someone else to offer guidance, until we can begin to do this for ourselves.

The long-term goal of becoming a member is that you will ultimately find yourself needing these audios less and less. You will develop the internal support system you’ve been needing. My goal is for you to empower yourself.
